We will officially be back to twice-daily blog posts later today and will be throughout the week. This past week with a combination of a weirdly long work-week for three days, a robust series of evening plans, the US Open, and my last trip for a few months, I didn't have it in me to also weigh on the ridiculousness of Donald Trump's continued dominance of the polls. As a result, here's a story worth clebrating-the classy win of Flavia Pennetta at the US Open, who finally won a Grand Slam title and then promptly retired. It was one of the few moments during the tournament that I had to celebrate as most of my favorites (the Murray Brothers, Serena Williams, Roger Federer) came up empty-handed.
