Olympic Image(s) of the Day: Day 9 & 10

Okay, so a lot of the pictures I'm showing today are also from yesterday, but yesterday had to be all about one of my heroes, Michael Phelps.  Today, on the other hand, I have to acknowledge some other fantastic athletes.  Here are some of my favorite wins of the past two days.

My girl, Serena, completes a career golden Grand Slam (all four grand slams and an Olympics gold medal), and it's worth noting-she also has done it as both a singles and doubles athlete.  One of the best of the best.

The twin Bryan Brothers (USA), taking their gold for the men's doubles.

The fabulous Williams sisters winning their third doubles gold at the Olympics-both already have a singles gold medal.

Andy Murray, celebrating that a Brit can in fact win at Wimbledon, just not when it's actually Wimbledon. :)  Either way, anyone who can crush the great Roger Federer like Murray did today deserves a call-out.

And Sports Illustrated is doing this gorgeous and fun medal pictures.  These are some of my favorites:

Conor Dwyer and Ricky Berens

America's Newest Sweetheart, Gabby Douglas

Kristian Ipsen and (finally) Troy Dumais

And the Olympic wild card, Ryan Lochte
